Provided a new expert article every month in the run-up to the 2015 City Nation Place summit, the first event of its kind for the place branding industry.
PR campaign for Digital Country Index
Placesbrands undertook a tailored PR campaign to secure media coverage for the Digital Country Index, targeting only the most relevant journalists. Placesbrands also pitched op-eds on behalf of Bloom Consulting. The result was valuable coverage in international media outlets including Business Insider, Skift, and Deutsche-Welle.
Content for Connect Limburg online magazine
Hired to produce new content for the Connect Limburg magazine, maintaining the core cross-border theme. We profiled the ‘imagined nation’ of Kurdistan, in a story including an exclusive interview with senior advisor to President Masood Barzani, leader of Iraqi Kurdistan.
Content for Transform Magazine
Created a bi-monthly column on nation branding for Transform Magazine, a British print publication focusing on branding. Topics covered in 2015 included stories about the new face of Cuba, the troubled image of Jamaica, and the brand management efforts of Jakarta.
Transform Magazine also commissioned Placesbrands for a series of short articles about city branding to use as promotional material ahead of the Transform North America brand awards, held in October 2015 in New York City.
